Support the Sacramento Zoo when you purchase season passes to the King's 2013/2014 basketball season. The Sacramento Kings have launched “SacramenTENs Assist” – a major community giving campaign in which ten percent of all season tickets sold during this ten week campaign will be donated to ten local charities. The campaign began on August 5th and will run for ten weeks, ending October 10th.
The Sacramento Zoo has been selected as one of the ten nonprofits that will benefit from this campaign. The other organizations are: American Heart Association, B Street Theatre, Big Brothers Big Sister of Sacramento, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern California and Northern Nevada, Sacramento Food Bank, Sacramento Kings Foundation, Sacramento Reads, Shriners Children Hospital and Sleep Train Foster Kids Program.
“The Kings organization cares deeply about this community, and we are thrilled to celebrate the extraordinary charitable work that takes place in Sacramento on a daily basis,” said Kings President and COO Chris Granger. “We are leading the NBA in new season ticket sales and we believe this success can be parlayed into helping deserving charities in the region. SacramenTENs Assist offers a unique platform for us to unite with fans and business leaders to provide our biggest assist yet.”
Kings fans who wish to join the season ticket holder family, all while helping these worthy causes are encouraged to call 888-91-KINGS or visit www.kings.com/tickets today.
